![]() The standard deviation calculated was to measure how spread out the words are, if they are reliable or not. The control group have the mean value of 4.56 which is higher than the experimental group of 4.48 which suggests that it’s easier for the control group to recall than the experimental group. The mean calculated was to present the average words recalled by the participants. The table (Appendix G) shows the mean and the standard deviation. ![]() The reason of the two sampling technique used firstly because of the environment of the researchers as there are many high school students who didn’t take psychology classes which makes them not having participant expectations that could lead to the low credibility of the findings and secondly because of the random allocation so there’s no researcher bias in determining the participant’s group. The sampling technique used in this experiment was the convenience and random sampling. ![]()
